WEIGHT VERIFICATION Carrier will verify the weight of any shipment
upon request. A charge of $100 and any out-of-route miles will apply. This
includes scaling the equipment and addition drayage. This verification will be
paid for by the party requesting the service. Carrier may refuse any loaded
trailer and/or container where the gross weight exceeds legal maximum. |
FINES Carrier will be reimbursed by third party for any fines resulting from
excess weight of any shipment which the carrier to be in violation of any
local, state, or federal laws. An additional $25 charge will be applicable
regardless of the violation or the amount of the fine. |
TRAILER AND CONTAINER STORAGE At the customer's written request, Memphis trailers and containers will be puller from railroad to the
BCS yard before the expiration of railroad free time at a rate of $75. The customer will receive the
day equipment is brought to the BCS yard plus one additional day as free time on the BCS yard.
After the expiration of free time on the BCS yard, storage charges will be billed at a rate of $20 per
day. All containers will have a charge of $12.00 per container to cover all in and out gate receipts. |
TRAILER AND CONTAINER DETENTION USDC Rules/Procedures Apply.
All railroad and steamship line Interchange Agreements will be honored for free time, holidays, and
penalties. However, all charges will be calculated at $15 per day over the current Interchange
Agreements. |

| MidWest Carriers is a member of and adheres to all policies and procedures set forth

| Tariff rates apply when there is no rate on a prenote or negotiated amount has been
approved and confirmed in writing by BCS and customer. |
| Payment terms for services performed are 30 days from the date of invoice. |
TWO HOURS FREE TIME allowed on all single stop moves.
ONE HOUR FREE TIME allowed on multiple stops. |
| Free time will commence at the time the driver arrives and notifies shipper/consignee
that equipment is available for loading/unloading. |
| After free time, customer will be assessed 75.00 per hour or portion thereof. |
| Driver load/unload/assist will be assessed at $150 per trailer with a 2 hour maximum.
After 2 hours, customer will be assessed $75 per hour. (Driver count will be an assist.) |
| STOP OFFS are $50 for the second stop, $75 for the third stop and $100 for each stop
in axcess of three, PLUS $1.50 per mile for out-of-route miles. |
| CROSSTOWNS (railroad to railroad) are $75 per pull. |
| Any arrival at railroad with no third party billing will be assessed two additional drays
at $75 each. |
